"Peace it's Super Effective"
Pamela Stanich, whose son Jared was taken from her in the savage attack on May 18, 2018 at Santa Fe High School, announces the creation of "The Jared Conard Black Scholarship Fund" to honor her beloved son's memory.
One of Jared's favorite sayings was "Peace it's super effective," explains Mrs. Stanich. "In almost every picture I have of Jared, he is flying that peace sign his older brother Jeremy taught him when Jared was three years old."
The following photo of Jared, age 15, was taken in August 2016 during his Freshman Year of high school.

"The purpose of the scholarship is to provide financial support to a graduating Santa Fe High School senior who is matriculating to post-secondary education and who like Jared possesses special needs," Mrs. Stanich explains.
The initial scholarship will be awarded to a member of the Class of 2020, Jared's graduating class, at Senior Awards Ceremony in June 2020.
"All of Jared's friends had special needs," Mrs. Stanich adds.
"Jared stood up on behalf of others who were being bullied," she explains, of which children with special needs are particularly susceptible.

Jared's 18th birthday is May 16th, and Mrs. Stanich asks those who wish to do something to honor Jared to consider donating to this fund.
This scholarship represents an exceptional opportunity to help a deserving graduating Santa Fe High School senior with special needs fulfill his or her personal goals in peace-loving Jared's memory.
