Boca Raton Ruby Tuesday's Sued for Age Discrimination

The United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has filed an age discrimination lawsuit against Ruby Tuesday, Inc. at its Boca Raton, Florida location for allegedly refusing to hire a qualified applicant with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry.

The EEOC's lawsuit styled as EEOC vs. Ruby Tuesday, Inc., No. 1:17-cv-21817 was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, Fort Lauderdale Division and alleges such conduct violated the federal Age Discrimination in Employment Act.

The EEOC seeks injunctive relief as well as compensatory and liquidated damages against the national restaurant chain.
