TREND: Supervisors killed by disgruntled employees

Disgruntled employees taking their anger out on supervisors by engaging in the ultimate act of workplace violence is a trend that has been identified in my research of 146 employee-on-employee murders from 2010 to August 2017.

Robert "Bob" Snyder, 69, terminated John Robert Neumann, Jr. 45, from his position with Fiamma - a business that makes awnings for RVs in April 2017.

On June 5, 2017, Neumann returned to the Fiamma offices in Orlando, Florida and shot and killed Snyder along with four other employees before killing himself.
