U.S. Government Statistics on Workplace Violence
According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of those American workers who were victims of occupational homicide:
82% were male
47% were white
66% were aged 25 to 54
20% were working in sales and related occupations,
19% were performing protective service activities
Workplace violence can happen anywhere to anyone. Don't become a statistic. Safety is everyone's concern.
