U.S. Government Statistics on Workplace Violence

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) of those American workers who were victims of occupational homicide:

  • 82% were male

  • 47% were white

  • 66% were aged 25 to 54

  • 20% were working in sales and related occupations,

  • 19% were performing protective service activities


Workplace violence can happen anywhere to anyone. Don't become a statistic. Safety is everyone's concern.
