Ex-Employee Arrested After Driving Car Through Wal-Mart

A recently-terminated Wal-Mart employee has been arrested after ramming his car through the store's entrance and continuing to drive it down several aisles.


The incident occurred before the store was open at approximately 6:00 am on April 2, 2021 at a Wal-Mart in Concord, North Carolina.

A 32-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with two felony charges, including assault with a deadly weapon and breaking and entering along with other misdemeanor charges


Officials at Walmart indicate the company involuntarily terminated this individual's employment from the Concord store in February 2021.


Fortunately, no one was injured during this attack of workplace violence. The Wal-Mart, however, sustained significant damage and remains closed to the public.
