Two More Supervisors Killed This Week in Ongoing National Scourge Known as Workplace Violence
WVPI founder Kathleen M. Bonczyk was quoted in 2017 as follows:
Reports this week from a small town in Mississippi tell us a disgruntled worker who had been allegedly suspended one day earlier pending investigation for showing a knife to a co-worker marched into his place of employment, a Walmart store filled with employees and customers, shot two supervisors dead, set a fire, and wounded a police officer.
The suspect who had been shot himself by police has been charged with two counts of murder.
Remembering the two members of management, both fathers, killed in yet another senseless act of workplace violence:
Supervisor Brandon Gales, 38 and 40-year-old Store Manager Anthony Brown.
