Rachael Birse to receive Kenny Suttner award at WVPI Symposium

Rachael Birse lost her beloved brother Ryan to a bully co-worker on February 25, 2016.

Ryan was working at his job at a KFC/Taco Bell restaurant in Elizabethtown, Kentucky when suddenly an older and larger in stature co-worker shot him multiple times, killing him.

Rachael was very close to her brother and was devastated by his loss. She misses him tremendously.

After Ryan was murdered, Rachael committed her time and energies to volunteer work in her brother's name with "The Ryan Birse Project" and through the Workplace Violence Prevention Institute.

Kathleen, Rachael, Rachael's stepfather Chris Bischoff, and Ryan and Rachael's mother Karen Rea Bischoff will attend the WVPI Symposium in Orlando 5/10/18.

Rachael, a graduating high school senior, has been named the May recipient of the non-profit Bianca's Kids "Kenny Suttner" award for her outstanding volunteer work.

Rachael will be recognized for her efforts at the Workplace Violence Prevention Institute's Symposium on May 10, 2018 in Orlando, Florida.

The Kenny Suttner award award is named in honor of Kenny Suttner who committed self-murder on December 21, 2016, due to bullying.
