The ADEA: A Primer

The Age Discrimination in Employment Act ("ADEA") is a federal Equal Employment Opportunity law which protects the rights of workers aged 40 and above from discrimination in all aspects of the employment relationship from recruiting through termination.

Workers covered by the statute who suffer harassment based on their age could potentially bring an action for employment discrimination pursuant to the ADEA
